Target and distance
Specify the metal, target size and working gap. Confirm the sensing distance against that target and the selected model.
HERED INDUSTRIAL SENSORS
Start with the target metal, the available mounting space and the signal your controller needs.
Metal detection
For non-contact detection of metal targets. Share the target material, installation space and required switching distance to discuss selection.
Specify the metal, target size and working gap. Confirm the sensing distance against that target and the selected model.
Share the body dimensions, available space and whether the sensing face is surrounded by metal. Flush and non-flush mounting need different clearances.
Match the supply, output type, switching logic and connection to the controller input. Include the existing wiring diagram for a replacement.
Describe temperature, vibration, moisture and contact with oil or cleaning fluids so the enclosure and cable can be checked.
Share the following details so our team can review your requirements.
Confirm it for the actual target material and size. A distance stated for a reference target does not establish the working distance for every metal.
Check the installation clearances and available sensing distance before replacing one with the other. Surrounding metal can affect detection.
Send the full existing model code, a wiring photograph or diagram, the target material and a mounting drawing. Include the controller input requirements.
