Installation and Application Guidelines

  1. Ensure the maximum load is less than the theoretical holding force (refer to provided graphs).
  2. Consider the relationship between loading and stroke length when selecting a model.
  3. Use the Load-Velocity charts for proper bore size selection in horizontal and vertical movements.
  4. Replace shock absorbers when a decrease in energy absorption capacity is noticed.
  5. Follow proper procedures for shock absorber replacement and tightening.
  6. Sensor switches can only be used with cylinders that have magnets.

Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect and replace shock absorbers as needed.
  • Never loosen the bottom screw of the shock absorber to prevent oil leakage.
  • Use appropriate tightening torques for shock absorber setting nuts.
  • Properly install and adjust sensor switches according to provided instructions.
