Applications

The Hered MK Series Rotary Clamp Cylinder is ideal for:

  • Automated assembly lines
  • Material handling systems
  • Robotic arm manipulation
  • Packaging machinery
  • Industrial clamping and positioning tasks

Installation Guidelines

  1. Install the cylinder vertically; horizontal use is not recommended (Use MK2T Series for horizontal applications)
  2. Avoid working in the direction of rotation, including clamping and limiting devices
  3. Perform clamping only within the designated clamping stroke (linear stroke)
  4. Ensure the clamping surface of the workpiece is perpendicular to the cylinder axis

Model Selection

Choose between standard (MK) and heavy-duty (MK2) types based on your rotational inertia requirements. The MK2 series offers greater rotational inertia capacity for bore sizes φ20~φ63.
